Gun Violence Prevention Youth Focus Group Coalition 2023

One Life @ A Time, INC., organized a significant event aimed at addressing the pressing issue of gun violence. Facilitated a roundtable discussion in collaboration with at risk youth to gather insights and feedback from the young individuals affected by gun violence. This roundtable discussion provided a platform for these youth to share their experiences, perspectives, and challenges related to gun violence. By actively listening to their stories and concerns, One Life @ A Time, gained valuable insights into the real-life consequences of gun violence on young individuals.
The feedback gathered from this event was then provided to the Mission Makia Foundation & the McCoy Youth Organization, likely with the aim of informing their initiatives and programs aimed at addressing and preventing gun violence in communities. Overall, this initiative demonstrates One Life @ A Time’s commitment to engaging with and advocating for marginalized and affected communities, particularly young individuals impacted by gun violence. Through efforts, One Life @ A Time, strives to bring attention to critical issues and try to drive positive change for those affected.
